Hey Mister

Something about a little girl giving puppies away door to door makes me think that a lot more puppies would have homes. More to come after this! Also that "Bitch" Magazine on the coffee table is an allusion to an older tickled Pink comic that I drew and never posted. "Bitch" is an awesome feminist magazine with truly excellent illustrations and articles. I submit some comics there once over a year ago and never heard anything back. Anyway I drew this back when Alexis had a subscription and I was reading it a lot. And just so know one's out of the loop here's the strip as a bonus.
If any of you were confused by the title at first, it's okay! Adam was too. :p

Insecure-ity Camera?

It can't be easy being the only super intelligent robotic camcorder in the world who can also speak. I'd imagine he feels a lot like the robot Marvin from "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" . . . if he were probably gay.

Hey everybody! More counseling! But who really needs the counseling here? (Probably still Adam, two appointments in two days? Really?) Also am I like the last person in the world to have heard of Lucy Knisley?

Dinner

What's up everybody? Here's a brand new strip I drew just yesterday with some new quills I bought. There's still a lots of old ones to post but they needed something to string them together so here it is! I'm using this older scanner and it usually gives me a really good texture to work with and I can fix the brightness and contrast in photoshop but it really did a number on this one. I think because I'm using different kinds of india ink. I think I'll use the scanners at the lab for the tickled pinks from now on.

Community College

Hey folks!
This is an old one that i never thought i was actually going to post. Honestly though, I find this hysterical because I basically had this conversation with an academic adviser I had in community college (WVC) and probably a conversation a lot of people who went to community college had.

As a bonus I dug through my archive (a pile of scrap paper I keep in a drawer) and found the original sketch I drew about this way back in probably 2007. You'll notice that I made sure the adviser looked JUST the same in both strips. I bet some of you reading know why.

Fly Ball

We're trying to find the plot still here at Tickled Pink, but that's just life for all of us I suppose. But hey it's the start of a new season! The sun is out, the snow is gone, and spring training is here! Can't wait for the games to begin! Neither can Adam in today's strip.
We'll just chalk this one up to the warm weather.

Boredom Burns

I've been finishing wrapping up some awesome projects lately and haven't payed attention to my other awesome stuff that I used to post! I have a small stock pile of these Tickled Pink strips that have been sitting on my hard drive.
I suppose today's strip doesn't stay much on plot, but I feel like the ennui we all feel as not just college students but as people always resonates to the human condition. And that just good readin'! :P
Also after two years of french I still had to look up how "ennui" was spelled. But I did get to read some interesting material "ON the WII!" Get it?

Missing David

Good news! While i was cleaning out my studio a couple of days ago, I found FOUR whole Tickled Pink strips that I'd finished a long time ago and had forgotten about. I just scanned them yesterday along with a lot of silly sketchs that i'm going to play with in photoshop. I did a couple already and posted one about Good Ol' Sigmund Freud on my Blog
Also the Holiday Greetings Penis Cards I designed are in an online competition on Creative Divergents If I win I get 250 bucks, possible publication in a book, and the much coveted bragging rights. But i need your votes and comments on the site since the winner is sort of chosen through viewer captivation.
